I've wondered about how the loved ones deal with their own transition to loving the truest person. Are there any transformational rites, like coming of age celebrations? We celebrate birthdays and coming of age. There are weddings, funerals, anniversaries, baptisms etc. These things help us take the next steps and the next steps. I've not seen any transitioning rituals. Maybe there should be a transition celebration or ceremony for her – and to help everyone who struggles with "him" being gone, to start letting go and fully embrace her.
