LOL. I've messed up coffee in the morning too. But, it wasn't exactly my fault.

See… my husband has this habit of rinsing the pot out after he has coffee, then filling the pot halfway with clean water. He thinks this makes the pot stay cleaner than just rinsing it.

I, personally, use my bottle brush and run it around the inside of the pot with clean water after every use.

Anyway… one morning, half asleep, I stumbled into the kitchen and made coffee. You can guess what I forgot to do – I forgot to empty my husband's frelling water. Wasted a pot of coffee.

But the worst part was… I couldn't have done this after he'd gone to work so he'd never know.

No… I couldn't have done that! I had to do it on a morning when he was off and we got up together. Dang. You can be sure he never lets me forget the one time in 31 years that I made a mistake (that he knows about) brewing coffee.
