Look at those pictures. The only difference is CECOT is all metal bunks instead of wood. Remember, it didn't start with death camps. It started with the ethnic cleansing of mass deportations, then moved on to concentration camps before the final solution of death camps.

Inmates of CECOT die from torture, beatings, mechanical suffocation via strangulation, or from wounds, or were left to die because of lack of medical attention. That's just a beginning.

And, I didn't say Trump was executing a "final solution" yet. I wrote his first solution at the moment is mass deportation of brown people — ICYMI, that's ethnic cleansing too. But, as Trump's mass detention camps pile up human lives in his institutional ethnic cleansing, what solutions will he choose for that problem while we're "[inviting them] into the conversation?"

I'm sorry, but no. Let's not invite ethnic cleansing authoritarians int the conversation. There is no wisdom is giving legitimacy to hate. Let's shut them down and push them out of leadership. As Christians, it's incumbent upon us to speak truth to power — even when the power is courting nazism.
