Many of the suspensions can have nothing to do with a violation of the platform's standards. I've lost several of my closest online friends here. They were writers of integrity and empathy who engaged thoughtfully and sincerely, and reciprocated beyond the performative. These are some of the best people and greatest writers on this platform, like Leonard Tillerman and Harry Hogg, for example. This is not a matter of clearing out abusers of the platform. It's a major glitch somewhere.

And, I’ve discovered there is something wider going on. These folks are gone from social media. Leonard and Harry are both members of my FB writers forum and friends on my profile. Both are just gone now.
