Maybe it's our terminology that is in disagreement. It seems to me you're describing memory and perspective, rather than truth or facts.

As for the MAGAs, the hearings may have an impact. They are watching them; and, their propaganda channels are covering them. No one is ever angrier than someone who gave all their devotion and then feels betrayed. Any MAGAs watching those hearings cannot help but come away knowing Trump and his cronies betrayed their trust and devotion, and perverted their sense of patriotism.

I hope that means this is the turning point. But, I'm afraid that, even if it is, things may get worse before they actually turn.
