Misogynistic camels? Finding out why that happened would be an interesting research exploration. Were y'all wearing perfume or other scented products that set them off? Or, was someone menstrual? Could it be triggered by colors? There must be a fact-based reason for it.

Back when I rode, horses were not fond of people with strong purfumy scents. There was this guy who came to ride at the Navy Lake stables in Millington TN back in the day. He went heavy on the cologne and the horses brought to him to ride got skittish when he came near. I don't know if he ever found a mount because we set off on our own ride.
