I was scrolling through my desktop files, looking for inspiration for a new blog here on Medium. I was looking for poetry or fiction to share. However, I stumbled upon a mostly forgotten folder of artworks of my creation. In that folder, as I scrolled through it, I landed on the image for this post.
A few of my reader-friends here on Medium have shared interest in seeing me share my artwork. With this in mind, I decided to begin sharing blogs of my artworks. I will also be sharing intermittent blogs of my art photography and rurexing photography. Naturally, I will still be sharing my poetry and writer-activism essays too.
“Monsters… Monsters Everywhere”
This artwork began as a pencil and charcoal drawing. Using Autodesk Pixlr, I added the “Shattered” layer from the “Grunge” overlays, and from “Grunge” borders, I added the “Crack” border. This artwork was created some time after the publication of my autobiographical poem by me entitled, “Monsters.” Below is the original hand made drawing side by side with the finished multimedia artwork.
