Most days, it really does feel that way when you look at the alternate reality of the rightwing and the way they are fighting so desperately to impose their opinion poltics of hate and otherism on us all.

But, America has always, at its core, been liberal and progressive. In every time, the leaders who carried the nation forward to global preeminence were progressive for their times. We can only hope that core continues to inspire more of to work like hell to carry this nation yet further forward in progrogress on that "arc of the moral universe."
