My hand is up. Not only do I do these things, but I actually love cabbage soup. In fact, I recently posted my recipe for my own. I'm fond of slaw too, when I make it. And, I love steamed cabbage with carrots and zucchini for a side dish.

As to "fancy dinners" — well, my husband and I just celebrated our son's 20th birthday, then our 32nd anniversary; we did NOT go out to a restaurant for either celebration. For my son's bday, I made his favorite citrus cake from scratch, including the citrus curd filling. The next day, as an early Yazdi celebration and my son's birthday dinner, we had Gormeh Sabzi. The day after that for our anniversary, my husband and I had Chinese takeout.

I have tote bag full of wrapping paper and gift bags I saved to reuse. Some of them have been saved and reused multiple times. LOL.
