My son was an EMT during covid. He started as an intern in high school. By the middle of 2023, he was worn out. It was quite a crucible for someone so young. Like so many from that time, he was left with PTSD for which he's now in therapy. He loved the job and fought like mad to get it, but doesn't know if he will ever go back to it.
