No one should treat anyone that way. I used to take my son to public play areas and saw entitled moms treat other mothers similarly. It even happened to me. Unfortunately, it was usually very white – very self-privileged – moms being rude to moms of not-white-enough children.

Full disclosure: While I may be so pale as to be nearly translucent, my son is Persian.

To be clear: I do not identify as "white." I am American of Scottish descent. "White" is not an identity nor a race, IME.
