Now who's the one made to "catastrophize and [hyperbolic]?" No one is advocating anything approaching killing them. That's their schtick – killing abortion providers, threatening and bombing and attacking Jewish communities and graveyards and synagogues, bombing clinics and democratic party offices, targeting immunologists and children's hospitals with death threats, threatening and assaulting FBI headquarters, threatening and assaulting the National Archives, attempting a coup with an assault on the capitol, murdering LatinX and Black people for no other reason than shopping for groceries…

The rightwinger have proven themselves an existential threat. They made an armed assault on the seat of our democracy – they literally attacked the United States of American on January 6th carrying the standard of the defeated Confederacy. The Dobbs ruling not only takes away women's bodily autonomy, it lays the ground work for taking away every right passed under the 14th Amendment. Republicans have even literally said they wanted to "revisit" the Plessy v. Ferguson ruling – that's segregation. The conservative justices on the SCOTUS have also unspooled much of the voting rights act, making it possible for all the red state voter suppression policies we're seeing.

Explain to yourself how the things are NOT an existential threat to the lives of individuals and the stability of our democracy.

JSYK, we change by investigating, prosecuting, and where convicted imprisoning them. No one is above the law. Hate speech and incitement are NOT protected speech any more than shouting "fire" in a crowded room is. Prosecute them. Educate their children. And, we turn out in numbers too overwhelming for them to deny and vote out every politician who still tows that line. The anti-democracy GOP needs to fade into history.
