On an up note… Forecasters who predicted Brexit also said right after it was passed that it was a forecast of Trump winning in 2016. They said the political and cultural climate of Britain reflected similar dichotomies in the USA.

So… if that is true, we may well hope that the blowout sweeping landslide of Labor in the UK election does forecast our national election outcomes.
