On FB Marketplace, I noticed this recently while looking for picture frames for a large piece of completed artwork of mine. The sales listing is for the frame. Yet, when you contact the seller, the generic prints in them seem to be deemed more valuable than the physical frames. When I asked about the interior dimensions (what size image it would fit) of one a frame, someone actually explained their frame came with a really nice print from an art museum which they'd paid to have framed.

The print is of no value at all to me. I explained I was sure it was lovely, but that I needed a frame for a piece of original artwork. I offered about 80% of their asking price and they never replied. The frame is still on the FB Marketplace. 🙄
