One of my issues has always been the fit of off-the-rack clothes. If I buy a dress or blouse to fit my breast size, it's going to inevitably be too big at the shoulders and rest of the garment. If I buy a pair of pants or skirt to fit my hips, they're going to be too big in the waist. With pants, lengths are an issue too; most pants off-the-rack come in tall, which is too long, or petite, which is too short. And, tall isn't really tall; one of my sisters was just shy of six feet tall and off-the-rack tall length pants were never long enough.

You'll also see things on the rack you love but won't buy because there's always something about it that doesn't suit you. For example, as personal preference, I like my dresses at ankle length. I can't begin to count the dresses I loved except that they were only knee length or that awkward mid-calf length. Mini-dresses, at least, I can use as tunic-length blouses.

There's an online clothing maker I'm longing to use – eShakti. Everything is customizable. I wish they had a storefront where I could see and handle the product to check it for quality of materials and construction. The "online" sourcing gives me pause.
