One of my sisters, who passed away in 2016, was dyslexic.

Later in life, she became an avid reader, though.

I don't know if it will help you, but she found if used a plain bookmark, sliding it down line for line, that she could keep up with the text.

It didn't work for columns, as in a newspaper, though.

She never found a good way to read that.

If she was reading on her phone, she read each line at the top of her screen, then scrolled past it to the next line, she could better follow the text.

The reason I broke up my comments as I did above is because my sister said it was easier to follow wider spaced lines.
