One of the best people I've ever known is my son's godmother. She always has at least two cats of her own and fosters (usually trauma-recovering) cats until they're ready for adoption. She even did her bit for diplomacy by fostering a couple of the cats rescued from the streets of Afghanistan.

She's single and loves her life. And, I cannot imagine anyone else in whom I would so happily and with complete trust have left Gray's future if it had been necessary.
