Our little Gizmo is going blind. And, he's suffering from the onset of arthritis. I wouldn't say he's lethargic; but, he's definitely slowed down. We contemplated cashing out and selling home which is worth more than three times what we paid for it. But, we decided we couldn't upend Gizzy's environment like that.

I just can't imagine putting down an old dog "just in case" something goes wrong for the sitter!
