Part of that could come from being shut up in Facebook jail for using permutations of the f-word. I've nver used much profanity in my own writing, though I'm not averse to it. However, I once commented on my own post to a troll's reply by telling them to fuck off. They reported me and my post was taken down and I was put in Facebook's time out for nearly a week while I pled my case. That was back in the early days when folks were newish to the platform after migrating from MySpace. But, it's always made me more circumspect in my choice of language expression.
