Same! Before I was married, it was a simple "D-e-v-e-r" and you cannot imagine the mangling of that simple five letters. Now, they don't even get "Denise" – I have become "Diane Diane tee" instead. Grrrr. At least I don't have to listen to the mangling of my given first name since I legally dropped it to just an initial.
