Seriously… who does that?
My reception was in my home, so there were no random interlopers. I just had my husband's Persian guests show up with platters of food and their own hard liquor. It was NOT a hard liquor event. And, I'd spent three days preparing the specific type of food I wanted at MY reception.

All I could do was keep telling myself: Let it be, Denise. Just let it be. <<<breathe>>> Clash of cultures. It was well intentioned. Shake it out and be gracious.
And get plastered.
