Sincere engagement is important. But, I get where Deirdre is from. That tit-for-tat and follow-for-follow stuff is practically a scam. I share a link on Facebook and folks drop their links, proclaiming they've fully engaged — only to go to Medium and find no such engagement on any of my posts. It's very frustrating.
