Still… what do you say about Chris Rock's 1980s history of punching down at Black women as a group with his "humor" about their hair? I never found his "good hair" jokes funny. Plus, even he realized at some point it was wrong and put out the "Good Hair" documentary, which now stands at odds with his punching down at a woman with hair issues. While Smith's ergregious behavior should never have happened, neither should Rock have punched down over a Black woman's health condition related hair loss – which is what alopecia is. What he did to Jada was not a roast; it was cruel.
