So… folklore and fables, Brothers Grimm, Mother Goose, and Goosebumps.

I agree you have a right to criticize – nay, obligation to criticize. I criticize it too. But, criticize the betrayal of the promise. Criticize the intentional spiritual abuse of the human-organizations using 2,000 to 6,000 year old cultural beliefs against children in our modern society. Blame the adults who cannot even read the scriptures about the Word upon which they claim their belief is founded. The scriptures say they themselves are NOT the Word of God. The book tells us the Word existed before the scriptures and that Jesus is the Word. The Word of God is a living, evolving thing, just like we and our society are evolving. It was never intended that scripture should freeze humanity to forever to 2,000 years ago.

The promise of the ideal is love and inclusion. I don't criticize the promise. I criticize the failure to keep the promise.
