Thank you for this reporting. It's kind been under my radar. I didn't see the news about the global heatlh emergency.

The hysteria and appalling lies around this is no different than the old witch burning fervor. It really seems to me that much of what's gone wrong in American fundamentalist and evangelical conservative circles is from similar geopolitical and cultural stresses. They're part of a hugely repressive and insular culture which casts everyone and everything outside their narrow perspective as evil enemies in a time of political and social upheval.

Human society is evolving out of their control to suppress it. Just like the witch burners of old, they feel they must punish and destroy anyone by whom they feel threatened. And, in the process, the real causes and real solutions are endangered.
