That ease of instant delivery and the fact that most self-pub authors go the route of ebooks means most of my reading is on ebooks too these days.

Books… Books… Oh! More Books

Oh… give me a real book

Ah… the creaking of the binding

the cove becoming a wall

a barrier from humdrum now

Let me feel its weight in my hands

I want to sink into its pages

reveling in the smell of it

hear the crinkling of its pages

as I lovingly turn each one

every page a bright door

a door between this world

a path away from the mundane

into the unfolding story world

Books… books… Oh! More books!
