That's actually funny. The difference between Atlanta and Seattle is likely far greater than the difference between Athens and Oslo. Cleveland is firmly Midwest and most Americans seem to think Midwest food is all potatoes and cheese with slabs of fatty meat overflowing the plate. That is a far cry from the much more refined cuisine of Seattle. I will give you, though, that you can find all the American styles of cuisine on offer somewhere in every metropolitan city. Americans are much more mobile – we move around a lot more; and, we take our regional likes and dislikes with us.
