That's awful.

One of my sisters, Dawny, could do that thing of putting both ankles behind her head when she was young, after the braces came off. I don't recall anyone saying such things to her or about her. What's wrong with people?

Dawny never did it much. Mother discouraged it because Dawny had already had corrective surgical breaks in her infancy and toddlerhood on both legs and ankles for being born bowlegged and pigeon-toed. She wore braces until she was three or four. It later turned out she had Osgood Schlatter's Disease.
