That's how I do it to. I like the posts on Facebook they've made in the groups if the topic interests me; I might even leave a comment, but never my own links. I do not follow unsolicited links in comments on my own post. I look for interaction on my own posts and try to reciprocate. Likewise, I don't do follow for follow. I follow when I am moved by or impressed with a body of work, or when I engage with someone; in both cases, it's a matter of having enough information to know if I want to make that connection.
