That's just not true. Sometimes, we might have trouble recalling specific names of writers – but every time a writer stops being present, we still feel that missing presence. Your abscence would be a void – even if we couldn't name it. And, then there'd be those times when we do recall with a sad fondness. But, never really forgotten.
