That's the thing about a set of relationships dominated by a narcissist – you can only walk away. The people who came up in that relationship-set have internalized the power of the narcisisst. It's how they cope and how the narcissist maintains that power. It's why the narcissist wants to keep their circle close, under their thumb. And, it's why when you break out, you are the constant target. The narcissist must make you the villain to keep that relationship-circle from following you and breaking their power.
