The Bible/flag statement is a reference to the quote attributed to Sinclair Lewis, "When Fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross" – as well as to Trump's frequent near humping of the American flag and the incident with him parading in front of a liberal church waving a Bible upside down.
