The bosses don't care. That is the problem. I'm sure you've heard of Rosa Parks and how her protest changed the laws. But, do you know why?

Her protest sparked a strike. Black people were the customers riding the buses. Rosa Parks' protest sparked the bus strikes. Black people stopped riding and picketed the bus station and bus stops -- and white people stopped riding too because they were uncomfortable trying to get past the picket lines to the bus stops.

The bus companies caved because their customer-revenues dried up. The laws changed following that success.

It would send to me that th UK's transit strikes could be ended if the customers joined the picket line.
