The groups trying to ban them want them banned from high school and college too. None of those books are out of bound for high schoolers, let alone young adult college students. The biography of Ruby Bridges is among the banned books — if that baby girl wasn't too young to face down the gauntlet of white bigots to get to class every day and help desegregate schools, then no child is too young to learn about it!
