The question of what to do about artists who are not great people and the brilliant art they create will always be a question of debate. Do we keep watching movies by Woody Allen after he essentially married his daughter? Does that creepy, skeaziness make his brilliant movies less brilliant?

I don't know the answer – I do think that as long as we give genius a pass for horribleness just for being a genius, then we validate their poor choices.

That said, were you aware that new game is about putting down a slave rebelliion? It apparently doesn't allow the gamers POV to do anything except harshly putting down the rebellion of an oppressed slave class. JK Rowling apparently had no say in the storyline of the game. However, is that really a theme that appeals to you? Do you want to be the oppressor?
