The RTP, particularly Raleigh and its suburbs, have become havens for New Yorkers leaving NY.

Wake County – the county where Raleigh and my little farming community reside, is easily as blue as NY. The RTP is generally moderate to progressive, and more educated than the rest of the state. The RTP is the "Research Triangle Park" – it centers between Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill.
