There are folks here who clap and skip, trying to draw you to their writing, to fake you out so you'll think you're reciprocating by reading them. I get them all the time. For example, someone will clap half a dozen of my posts in just a minute or two. Now, all my posts --- every single one -- are over three minutes (typically five to seven). It's patently obvious they've not read any of them.
