There Is No Comparison

What ever your feelings about the candidates, their histories and policies, and the election, we can all celebrate that America chose kindness in electing Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
I’ve lived most my life with President Elect Joe Biden serving the American people. Yes, he made some missteps along the way — no one can serve as long as he has without doing so; he is only human, after all. However, he never stopped believing in the American people and he always acted in good faith for what he hoped would be the best interests of all the people. He believes science and trusts truth and facts. He has always been a consensus builder, finding ways to bring people in even when they disagree — finding ways to unify. He is a decent and compassionate person who will work as hard for those who did NOT vote for him as he will for those who did.
And, Biden won’t suck up to brutal dictators or rip children from their mothers’ arms and lock them in cages!
There is flatly and resolutely no comparison whatsoever to the chaos and cruelty that has been Trump and his regime. Trump is cruel and has been all his life — for him, the cruelty is the point.
Babies in goddamn cages, for cripes sake! Trump is credibly accused of sexual assault and harassment by more than twenty women — including at least TWO of Epstein’s child sex-slaves. Trump is friends with FIVE convicted pedophiles. He is everything we were ever taught to believe is wrong, criminal, indecent, petty, cruel, hateful, and ignorant. Trump is distilled evil!
Trump’s message of white anger and division and hate, of “American carnage” cannot begin to compare with Biden’s wide open inclusivity for all Americans and his and Kamala’s message of hope and unity.
It’s a VERY clear distinction. Joe Biden is a decent, law abiding man who has lived a life of dedicated, honest public service, trying his damndest to do what he hoped would be the best for the American people and to be the best human being he could — including admitting error and correcting himself, and growing better all the time. He’s a devoted husband and father. He’s a loyal and magnanimous friend. He’s a generous soul of compassion and empathy.
There are no valid equivocations. He is NOT lesser of two bad choices. He’s not the “anybody but Trump” choice.
Joe Biden is a great choice.
