There’s a key to the grammar prison. Every writer has their own key. It’s “poetic license” – it’s not just for poetry! 😎
That’s the lesson I’ve learned from being a poet. Just think… E.E. Cummings would be relegated to the trash bins of literature if grammar rules decided good poetry. Grammar matters to me in my writing, but I hope I’ve learned when the rules should not apply.
