They are antithetical to everything ever recorded of Christ's life and teachings. More than that, they are hostile to democracy itself.

The conservative right, IME, have made themselves into an existential threat to humanity itself. They are against everything and everyone except protecting and increasing their own privilege and power and in shoveling ever more wealth upwards into the hands of the already obscenely wealthy, at the expense of our human ecology. They will not stop short of imposing their Dominionist vision of a theocratic corporate feudal state where we are all required to just shut up and work (and keep making babies for more workers) until we die.

If they have their way, the destruction of our human ecology might well be our only release from their systematically institutionalizing our oppression bordering on enslavement.
