They should be taxed. Instead, there should be a class of deductions for churches. If they can show their charitable outgoing expenses exceed their taxable value, only then should they get out of taxation. And the organizations their charity benefits should have to prove at least half it's intake goes directly to people in need... Or back to the church for taxing.
