They tell the tales of God directing Hebrews in battle, glossing over the babies dashed upon the rocks and the pregnant women sliced open to destroy their wombs.

The tell us Jesus thinks abortion is murder – though He never said a word about it. Even Paul – whose word evangelicals give precedence over Christ's teachings and example – never said a word about abortion.

They revel in the tale of that night Jesus was saved by God in Bethlehem – but ignore all the other baby boys slaughtered on that night.

To my knowledge, this oh-so-critical issue was only ever once directly addressed and that was in Numbers chapter 5, when the priest is commanded to force an abortion upon a woman.
