They want to tie women to men in perpetuity… equally, they seem to want to let men walk away and discard families. Little is ever done to bring deadbeat dads to heel. As you wrote, the country never came forward on women's rights. For cripes sake, we couldn't ever even get the ERA through. Even with enough states now, it still won't get through Congress because of they claim it has "expired."
