This has inspired a set of lines for the poem I've been trying to compose. I don't know if it's finished yet – "Seventy-Seven Minutes" is the title

While Arrendondo fiddled…

Arrendondo fiddled with keys

Seventy-seven minutes…

Parents threatened

threatened with arrest

threatened with tasing

over the sound of screams

children's screams

and the man-child's gunshiots

Parents forced to bear

forced to hear, to listen

forced for seventy-seven minutes

forced to listen to the screams

the screams… the screams… the silence

of their slaghtered children

While Arrendondo fiddled…

Arrendondo fiddled with keys
