This is the first nail in the coffin of American democracy.

I began saying years ago that the GOP was trying to supplant our constitutional democratic republic with their Dominionist vision of a theocratic corporate feudal state where we are all required to just shut up and work (and keep having more babies for more workers) until we die.

I used to say after 2016 that they were two-thirds of the way there. With the overturning of Roe, they will be there. Roe is the first nail. The remaining nails are all the rest of the rights implied by that draft as "egregiously" unconstitutional. They're already digging the grave with all their voter suppression laws. They're getting ready to lower that coffin into the grave. Undoing the Civil Rights movement will fill in the grave.
