This is true. But, there are many progressive Christians in America too. We're part of that statistic. Included in that number are progressive Christians like Hillary Clinton, Jimmy Carter, Joe Biden, Alexandra Ocasio Cortez, John Lewis, Elijah Cummings, Stephen Colbert, Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé, Methodist megachurch Pastor Adam Hamilton, Duke Divinity Professor Emeritus Dr Mickey Efird, Joe Lewis, as well as my own pastors of the past 30 years, my community of fellow Christians across a dozen states, the majority of my circle of close friends, and myself.

We are many. We know that "God is love" and that "If you know love, you know God." We've been shoulder to shoulder with you in every progressive agenda. We're just not using our faith to virtue signal when we try to do good in the world. We just quietly get on with doing or best to be the image of God in this world, through love and grace, with whomever else is trying to make the world a better place.
