Those were the worst! There was so much more camaraderie in Girl Scout camp than regular camp. But, the difference between scout camp and Bible camp was stark. Maybe it was because Bible camp was for the youth group – I was thirteen, I think, in Bible camp. In regular camp, I was around eight or so. I was ten or eleven for scout camp.

But, Bible camp should have been better. We were already all known to each other. In our circle of cabins, we were all from the same church youth group. No one would have dared behave at church as they did at camp.
