Thoughtful article. It's so important to take a little time to reach out. Knock on that elderly neighbor's door. Maybe offer a plate of something. Offer to walk with them if they're alone. Maybe neighbors could come together and take turns mowing their lawn or tending their flower garden. If they invite you in, do the dishes or something. If neighbors got together to take such things in turns, it wouldn't be onerous for anyone.
