True. My point, though, is that Brits don't deify King John and the barons over the Magna Carta. They don't claim the Magna Carta is God-inspired. I think that's a whole other level of whitewashing insanity unique to American conservativism created wholecloth out of the Dominionist theology of Manifest Destiny ideology.
