You asked why they're still angry and dissatisfied. Anger and hate are never satisfying. Cruelty doesn't satisfy either and leads to ever heightening cruelty, and ultimately to atrocity. Hate returns cruelty, cruelty returns atrocity. It can never return love or kindness.

Only love can satisfy… only love returns love and kindness.
